Accessibility
Last reviewed:
We want everyone to be able to turn a photo of their car into a print. Our goal is for weprintyourcar.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we aim for
We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our design and testing target. We have not yet completed a full accessibility audit of the whole ordering process, so the points below are our goals, not test results. We will update this statement with the scope, date and findings once testing is done.
- Images: previews and product pictures should have text alternatives that name the style or product.
- Keyboard: every step should work with a keyboard, with a visible focus.
- Contrast: text and controls are designed to meet WCAG contrast ratios.
- Motion: the changing pictures on our home page are meant to stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Forms and errors: form fields should have labels, and error messages should be shown as text and announced to screen readers.
- Zoom and small screens: our pages are designed to work at 200% zoom and on phones.
Known limitations
- Pictures of your car: a preview is a picture. We name the style, but a text alternative can't describe every detail. If you'd like a description of your previews, email us and we'll describe them.
- Checkout: payment happens on a checkout page run by Stripe. If something there doesn't work for you, contact us and we'll help you complete your order another way.
- Other websites: links to Trustpilot or Instagram lead to sites we don't control.
Another way to order
If any part of our site doesn't work for you, email hello@weprintyourcar.com with your photo and what you'd like. We'll create your previews, send them to you and help you complete your order by email.
Tell us about a problem
Email hello@weprintyourcar.com with the subject "Accessibility". It helps if you tell us the page, what you were trying to do and, if you like, which browser and assistive technology you use. We reply within 2 business days and fix confirmed problems as quickly as we can.
